Will Graham Shares Gospel Where His Father, Grandfather Preached
The Metro Manila Celebration is an eight-day, nine-event campaign culminating with a weekend of large-scale events at Rizal Park. Earlier this week, the Celebration included outreaches for youth, government leaders, the military and police, and business professionals.
This weekend's event marks the first time that Billy Graham, Franklin Graham and Will Graham have held multi-day Crusades in the same venue—Rizal Park in Manila.
All people are God’s children, but individuals have to make a
decision to receive His Son
, Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior. Tonight these young people chose to surrender their lives to Him.
The Philippines is an archipelago of more than 7,000 islands.
“Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! … Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp!” —Psalm 150:1,3
Prayer volunteers were there for those who come forward when Will Graham gave the invitation
to ask Christ into their hearts
.
A choir of 1,000 voices lifted up the name of Jesus Christ.
Worship pastor and artist Mark Christian has worked with the Will Graham Celebration team as worship leader and emcee for multiple years.
All smiles after their decision to start a new life in Christ.
The space in front of the stage was empty before many flooded down front at Will Graham's Gospel invitation.
Jeepneys are a popular way to get around the city. They were originally made from old American military jeeps. About a dozen people can squeeze inside these colorful, fun transports.
This marker in Manila's Rizal Park honors the Philippines' national hero, José Rizal, as well as Billy Graham, who held a Crusade here in 1977.
Just as three generations of the Graham family have preached in this Asian nation, three members of the Tica family have interpreted their messages into the local language.
The Metro Manila Celebration continues Saturday and Sunday.
Watch live
and pray with us for many more to find forgiveness, mercy and new life in Jesus Christ.
