Christmas at the Library Lighting Up the Night
The live nativity features camels, goats, lambs, a donkey and usually a special guest or two. This year, keep an eye out for a lemur. Children can visit with the animals each day from noon to 2 p.m. The live nativity scene begins nightly at 5.
Christmas at the Billy Graham Library
in Charlotte, North Carolina, runs through Dec. 22.
Plan your visit.
The 11th annual Christmas event is part of Billy Graham's ongoing legacy of sharing the
Gospel of Jesus Christ
. Volunteers help create a live nativity scene each night as
the Christmas story
is told from the Bible.
Franklin and Jane Graham were joined by their daughter, Cissie Graham Lynch, and their son Roy Graham and his family during the annual lighting ceremony.
"The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world." —John 1:9
Beautifully decorated Christmas trees adorn the rooms of the Library. At
Ruth's Attic Bookstore
, visitors can shop for Christmas ornaments and many other gifts.
Some visitors enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through the brightly-lit grounds of the Library.
Christmas at the Library ends on Saturday, Dec. 22. It's open daily, except on Sunday.
Plan your visit
and experience the
joy and peace of Christ
this Christmas.
