A Packed House for Billy Graham Library’s Ladies Tea and Tour
The
Billy Graham Library
in Charlotte, North Carolina, hosted 533 ladies during two seatings at the 11th annual Ladies Tea and Tour.
Laughs and smiles were contagious.
Gigi Graham, eldest daughter of Billy and Ruth Bell Graham, shared personal reflections about how
God was always there
through her personal trials. The Ladies Tea and Tour coincided with the
two-month anniversary of her dad’s death
. Gigi spent time talking about her father's compassion and unconditional love throughout her life.
Guests came from all around the Carolinas as well as Indiana, New Jersey, Wisconsin, Florida, Washington, Arizona, Virginia and even Alaska!
The tea featured yummy food, including finger sandwiches, desserts and scones, accompanied by a beautiful assortment of condiments.
Ladye Love Smith led the ladies in worship with special music. She and her husband have been part of the Gaither Homecoming family for years.
Tameka Thomas (on right) was emcee for the tea.
For many, this was their first time; and for others, it's a yearly tradition.
A shuttle brought the women from the Billy Graham Library to the
Billy Graham Evangelistic Association
headquarters for the event.
Many came with friends or family.
Afterward, 254 people stayed to take
The Journey of Faith
tour, which shows how God used Billy Graham to share
the Gospel
with millions during his lifetime.
Although hats are optional, a good many had fun wearing them.
There was a time of fellowship before the tea. One lady, who was new to the Charlotte, North Carolina, area, came as a way to meet people and make friends.
The Ladies Tea and Tour is always a sweet time of fellowship and encouragement in the Lord. Check out the Billy Graham Library's
upcoming events
that may encourage you!
