Decision Texas Photos: Longview
Franklin Graham finished up the seven-city
Decision Texas Lone Star Tour
in Longview Thursday night. An estimated 9,300 people packed the field at the Maude Cobb Convention Center. More than 500 people
made decisions for Christ
in response to the Gospel message, including people in 61 countries watching via live stream.
The tour consisted of one-day evangelistic events across Texas, with stops in Lubbock, Midland, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Round Rock and Waco before Longview.
“We need truth in this world in which we live,” said Franklin Graham. “Jesus is the truth.”
"
Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good.

Texas native and Grammy-nominated artist David Crowder (far right) and his band led high-energy and soulful worship at every stop.

Praying for America and its leaders.
About 80,000 people live in Longview. Where is this eastern Texas city? It’s 120 miles east of Dallas, due west of Shreveport, Louisiana, and not too far from Texarkana, Texas.
Listening attentively.
Crowder played while people prayed to turn their lives over to Christ. "All my hope is in Jesus, thank God that yesterday's gone. All my sins are forgiven, I've been washed by the blood."
When you have Christ in your heart, there's joy in worship.
Regarding salvation, Franklin Graham told Texans: “God gave His Son and it’s by grace and it’s through faith in Him. You don’t work for it. It’s simply [Jesus’] work that saves us. The work of the cross is what saves us. And all we have to do is be willing to accept it by faith.”
Pray to receive Christ today
