Prayers Answered With Mighty Turnout on Day 2 of Myanmar Festival
Franklin Graham prays with pastors and church leaders before the Yangon Love Joy Peace Festival in Myanmar. More than 52,000 people attended the second day and thousands made decisions for Christ.
A trained counselor prays with young boys after Franklin Graham led those in attendance through a prayer of salvation.
In two days, the Festival has drawn more than 98,000 people thanks largely to the efforts of 400 churches in Myanmar. People came from all over the country—including remote, mountainous areas a two-week journey away. (Photo taken by Ryan Smith)
Franklin Graham shared a message of
God's love
through the parable of the Prodigal Son (
Luke 15
).
Many listened intently to the message that
God loves them.
Franklin Graham gives a thumbs up to children opening gift-filled shoeboxes at a Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child event in Myanmar before Saturday's Festival.
The Myanamar Convention Center was filled to capacity, so many watched from an overflow room that also swelled with those hungry to hear God's Word.
Myanmar churches had been praying for a great harvest, and more than 2,400 people made
decisions for Christ
during Saturday's event.
Ephesians 5:8 states, "For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord."
Dennis Agajanian led the crowd in praising God, along with many other local worship artists.

The three-day Festival concludes Sunday in Myanmar. Please keep the people of Yangon in your prayers as they hear Franklin Graham share
the Gospel
