As you settle into a new year, you may be thinking about how you can use the coming months as a time of spiritual growth, preparing for the future, or sharing your talents with others.
Consider these five opportunities from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
1. If you would like to serve…
Do you have free time on your hands and want to make an eternal difference? Point those who are hurting to the hope found in Jesus Christ by answering calls on the Billy Graham Prayer Line.
>> Become a prayer line volunteer.
Or, if you prefer building relationships face-to-face, become a Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplain and offer emotional and spiritual care to hurting communities in the aftermath of disaster.
>> Serve as a Billy Graham chaplain.
You can also share the Gospel through our internet evangelism outreach, Search for Jesus—answering questions about faith, praying daily for people around the world, or connecting people with local churches.
>> Join our internet evangelism team.
2. If you want to grow spiritually…
Start or renew your commitment to God through prayer and by reading His Word.
If you aren’t sure where to begin, get plugged in to one of our Bible reading plans. Patty Stump’s Bible study is at the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove in Asheville, North Carolina. The study has free, online Tuesday morning sessions streamed live on Facebook and is titled: “The Great Adventure of Knowing God Through the Revelation of His Names.”
On Tuesday evenings, you can join Kendra Graham’s Bible study on the book of Acts to see how the Holy Spirit can ignite your life and community.
Or, access several Bible studies from Anne Graham Lotz here.

3. If you’re interested in travel…
Already dreaming of a trip with your spouse or a personal spiritual retreat in 2023? Plan a weekday or weekend getaway at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in the picturesque Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.
Or, consider joining us this spring at Franklin Graham’s God Loves You Tidewater Tour in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. You can also come alongside Will Graham’s Idaho Falls Look Up Tour this fall in Idaho, located 90 minutes from Yellowstone National Park.
4. If you want to be challenged…
Looking to push yourself academically this year? Consider studying online or scheduling an in-person visit to the new Billy Graham Archive and Research Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, to access countless Billy Graham manuscripts that can help you share Jesus effectively with others.
5. If you would like to be more prepared…
If you’ve been meaning to create a will or plan your estate and need help, check out our free Legacy Planning Kit that includes practical worksheets, checklists, and a financial guide to help secure your spiritual legacy.
Thank you to all those who are involved in Billy Graham Evangelistic Association ministries. We are so grateful for how you are making a difference for the Kingdom.
