Same Gospel, Different Generation

This weekend, more than 650 teens will get down to the basics of what they believe, find the power to live what they say, and learn how to share their faith with their peers.

These young Christians will attend the FM419 evangelism training in Auburn, Alabama in preparation for the March 26-28 East Georgia West Alabama Will Graham Celebration.

Speakers Nick Hall, James Taylor, Jr. and John Cass, along with special musical guests, The Afters, will challenge and encourage them in their walk with Christ and as young evangelists.

Josh Holland, an associate with the Will Graham Celebrations, has been preparing for this, both in planning and through prayer.

“I have personally been praying that God would prepare the hearts of students who attend this training. Many of them are on the fence or lukewarm in faith,” said Holland. “My desire for them is to have a passionate encounter with Jesus and realize the importance of living a life that glorifies God.”

Holland also says evangelism is important during this stage of life. “Statistics show that most people who come to Christ do so by the time they graduate from high school,” he said. “It is vital that students learn how to share Christ in effective ways. They can relate their peers more effectively than adults can. It is so important that they are equipped to do that.”
