Will Graham in Rapid City: Salvation Is at Stake
“This Celebration is not about Will Graham and it’s not about you," Will Graham said to an audience in Rapid City, South Dakota, on February 16. "It’s about the King of kings and the Lord of lords reaching lost men and women.” Graham spoke at a church engagement rally ahead of the upcoming
Black Hills Paha Sapa Celebration
, September 24–26, 2021.
The gathering was one of many prayer and preparation events taking place ahead of the Rapid City Celebration. The First Assembly of God hosted the rally and is located only about 20 miles from the Mount Rushmore National Memorial.
Josh Havens and Matt Fuqua of the award-winning band, The Afters, led a time of inspirational worship.
Will Graham, vice president of the
Billy Graham Evangelistic Association
, encouraged attendees to follow God's Word and share the Gospel with unbelievers. “The only thing you can take to Heaven is other people," Graham said. "I want you to start thinking about who
needs to hear about Jesus Christ, to hear about salvation
."
While this photo was taken in downtown Rapid City, the surrounding region is home to many ranches, reservations and national parks.
James Rattling Leaf Sr., who is coordinating Native American involvement in the Celebration, spoke at the rally.

Will Graham leads those gathered in prayer. In Romans 10:1, the Bible says, "My heart's desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved."
