How do I regain life when am dead spiritually for years because of continuous sin?
Paul, we have passed on your question to our team so we can follow up with you.
We also want to encourage you. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” God is a God of second chances. You don’t have to be spiritually dead any longer. The whole reason Jesus came was to save us from our sins so that we can have life “to the full” (John 10:10).
Here are a couple of encouraging verses for you. Isaiah 43:25 says, “I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” Isaiah 1:18 also says, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.” God wants to forgive, and He can help you get on the right track. Yes, as imperfect people, we will always sin, but He can transform us over time so that we become more Christlike.
