Sunday Gallery: Three Rivers Festival of Hope

Thousands who came to the Festival of Hope in Pittsburgh Sunday couldn't wait to see the Charlie Daniels Band. Charlie Daniels, sporting a belt buckle that said "Jesus is Lord," talked about the country's need for Jesus Christ and sang popular songs like "I'll Fly Away."
Praise
Sunday night was full of praise and worship in Pittsburgh. More than 1,500 people committed their lives to Christ over the weekend, and tens of thousands more watched the Festival through the live web stream.

Franklin Graham talked about the seriousness of sin and the only One who can forgive us of those sins.
Crowd
More than 10,000 filled the CONSOL Energy Center Sunday for the final day of the Three Rivers Festival of Hope. Many people attended all three days, for a total attendance of over 25,000.

Michael W. Smith closed the Festival with songs that fans have loved for decades, as well as some new songs.

Charlie Daniels wasn't going to play possibly his most famous song, "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," but said at multiple requests, he obliged. The audience was ecstatic, some of them dancing near the stage.

Pittsburgh local Lacey Sturm sang "Mercy Tree," featured on last year's My Hope America with Billy Graham film called "The Cross."
