Billy Graham's Message: "The Bubble That Bursts" (Part 2)
Billy Graham continues to speak about one of the greatest men who ever lived - Solomon. Solomon had all the pleasures of the world, but he learned the pleasure is short-lived. The wages of sin is death. We were born to be perfect and never meant to die. But when the devil tempted man to disbelieve God and when man fell into that temptation, it separated us all from God. We cannot keep our promises. There is nothing within us that enables us to do so. Man was destined for hell, but Jesus took our punishment on the cross, though he had no sin. Solomon had power and tried religion. But religion without Jesus is harmful. One must come to the cross, ask Christ for forgiveness and confess willingness to follow Christ. The greatest inoculation against the gospel is hearing it but not heeding it. Solomon's experience led him back to God and to realize the greatest thing was to fear God and keep His commandments. Don't put it off, today is the day of salvation. From the Louisville, Kentucky Crusade, 23 June 2001. A Testimony, Ministry Update and a song precede the message.
