Fall Events for All Ages at the Billy Graham Library

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 8, 2015—Charlotte-area entrepreneurs, David and Jason Benham—authors of Whatever the Cost—return to the Billy Graham Library this fall for the Men’s Breakfast and Tour on Sept. 19. In addition, the Library hosts multiple events throughout the year which include popular annual events such as the upcoming Bikers with Boxes held each October and Ladies Night Out in November.

Sept. 19, 7:30-9:30 a.m.: Men’s Breakfast and Tour—Featuring keynote speakers David and Jason Benham—former pro baseball players and real estate entrepreneurs—men of all ages will gather to enjoy a buffet breakfast and a guided tour of the Billy Graham Library. Space is limited. Advance reservations and payment are required by Thursday, Sept. 17. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased online or by calling 704-401-3256.

Oct. 17, 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.: Bikers with Boxes—The 8th annual Bikers with Boxes charity ride brings together thousands of motorcyclists from across the region. In 2014, more than 3,000 gift-filled boxes were collected for Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child. See ideas for packing your shoebox at the Operation Christmas Child website. Nov. 20, 6:30-8:30 p.m.: Ladies Night Out—A preview to the annual Christmas at the Library at the Billy Graham Library. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and be among the first to see the Library’s Christmas decorations and hear an encouraging message from Kendra Graham, wife of evangelist Will Graham.

Tickets are $20 per person and must be purchased by Thursday, Nov. 19. Seating is limited. Purchase tickets online or by calling 704-401-3256.

Also this fall, the Billy Graham Library is partnering with the North Carolina Museum of History for a special exhibit—North Carolina’s Favorite Son: Billy Graham and His Remarkable Journey of Faith. From Nov. 6, 2015—the day before Billy Graham’s 97th birthday—to July 10, 2016, guests to the North Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh, N.C., can take a glimpse into the life of a man who influenced millions around the world. Through interactive displays, multimedia and some never-before-seen memorabilia, visitors can retrace Billy Graham’s steps through history and discover his faith and leadership at work during the Cold War, the battle against segregation, and through unprecedented partnerships with churches around the world.
