‘I Think of My Grandchildren’: The Reason Behind the God Loves You Tour

“In the mornings when I wake up and listen to the news, it seems like we go from bad to worse,” Franklin Graham said. “I think of my grandchildren. I think of the world that they’ll be living in. The world has changed so much and we have turned our back on God.”

Starting this weekend, Franklin Graham will travel across five states, stopping in six cities along the way to share the powerful, transformative Gospel during free, one-night evangelistic events called the God Loves You Tour.

“I know that the only hope for our country, the only hope for this world, is God and His Son Jesus Christ,” he said. “There’s power in the Gospel.”

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes …”
—Romans 1:16, ESV

The tour will stop in Allentown, Pennsylvania (Sept. 24); York, Pennsylvania (Sept. 25); Youngstown, Ohio (Sept. 27); Flint, Michigan (Sept. 29); Waukesha, Wisconsin (Oct. 1); and Rochester, Minnesota (Oct. 2). Each stop includes music by Newsboys and Dennis Agajanian, and Marcos Witt will be joining the first four stops on the tour.
