“Evangelism is Like Sowing Seeds”

By   •   January 24, 2011   •   Topics:

Evangelism is like a sower scattering seed–some of it falls on bad soil and brings forth very little fruit, and some of it falls on good soil and brings forth a great deal of fruit. Jesus explained that the seed is like the Word of God.

In our ministry at BGEA, we believe that God has primarily called us to be evangelists. We go across the country and throughout the world using every strategy and technology we know to sow this same seed.

Some of it falls away, but some of it produces and reproduces.

We regularly hear from people all over the world who have committed their lives to Jesus Christ as a result of some seed that was sown many years ago in our meetings. We give God all the praise and the glory, because we know that the Holy Spirit, energizing His Word, is the real evangelist. We are just the servants He uses.

Will you partner with us this year as we sow the seed of God’s Word throughout 2011?

I am an Evangelist for my God. I tell someone everyday about his good works in my own life, so I can be a blessing to others.

Please pray for God to raise up some Japanese Billy Graham's who have biblical knowledge, love for Japan and can find a way to get on the Japanese broadcasting network 24/7. Pray for the Japanese people to open their hearts up to the gospel and to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Pray for Japan's churches to have a great revival. Pray for this country to wake up and answer to God's calling. Please…!
