Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) chaplains pray with people in front of Old National Bank in Louisville, Ky., where a gunman killed five people and injured eight others on April 10.

People across Louisville, Kentucky, are mourning the deaths of five people following the April 10 tragic shooting. Eight others were injured at the Old National Bank, including two officers responding to the scene.

News reports say the gunman, who was killed by officers, was an employee of the bank.

To offer emotional and spiritual care to this hurting community, the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) ministered on the streets of downtown Louisville.

“We are praying for the families of the victims, survivors, law enforcement, and the Louisville community,” said Josh Holland, international director of the BG-RRT.

The shooting came 20 days after a shooter killed three adults and three children at a private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, where chaplains recently spent time mourning with that community.

Additionally, the BG-RRT is serving in Arkansas and Tennessee after an outbreak of fatal tornadoes ravaged parts of the South and Midwest.

Will you join us in praying for the families of those killed and injured in this tragedy?
