Billy Graham Library Highlights Crusade Team’s Music Ministry

By   •   January 23, 2020

Ministry partners (left to right) Cliff Barrows, Billy Graham and George Beverly Shea shared the Gospel with millions during their lifetimes.

It’s inevitable.

With every good church sermon, congregations look for engaging worship.

At Billy Graham Crusades, the role of leading worship was given to George Beverly “Bev” Shea and Cliff Barrows, alongside other team members. Just as Mr. Graham shared the Gospel through sermon, they did so in song—in hopes of opening hearts across the world.

Now through March 31, you can visit the special exhibit “Then Sings My Soul” at The Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina. You’ll have the opportunity to read through nearly seven decades of inspiring stories and personal memories from Billy Graham, Bev Shea and Cliff Barrows.

In addition, you can browse through never-before-seen memorabilia and view photos from the Crusade team’s music ministry.

While Mr. Graham greatly supported the work and talent of Bev Shea and Cliff Barrows, he mostly left the singing up to them. Below is his attempt at “This Little Light of Mine” alongside his ministry partners and friends.

Don’t miss a beat—this special display is free to the public and no pre-registration is required. For more information, please call 704-401-3200.
