Will Graham plays the role of Billy Graham in the movie Unbroken: Path to Redemption. This sequel to Unbroken tells about Olympian and WWII hero Louis Zamperini's path to finding forgiveness, redemption and amazing grace.

Even though the man he called “granddaddy” is in heaven now, Will Graham is still learning from him. The younger Graham portrays Billy Graham in Unbroken: Path to Redemption, released in movie theaters on September 14. This film is the sequel to Unbroken, which came out in 2014.

Billy Graham’s message of God’s forgiveness dramatically changed Olympian and World War II hero Louis Zamperini’s life. After surviving a plane crash and 47 days afloat in the ocean, along with brutal treatment as a prisoner of war, Zamperini suffered from PTSD and nightmares. The veteran received salvation and forgiveness at Billy Graham’s 1949 Los Angeles Crusade.

In this short audio clip, Will Graham shares two things he learned about his grandfather while preparing for his role—and how it’s impacted his preaching.
