CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 1, 2016—The Billy Graham Library will welcome Sadie Robertson, one of the stars of A&E’s top-rated reality series Duck Dynasty, on Feb. 20 to sign copies of her New York Times best-selling book, Live Original.
“The Robertson’s have instilled faith in God’s word in their younger generations,” said Tom Phillips, vice president of the Billy Graham Library. “To see how Sadie steps out boldly in her own faith is a testament to the values and beliefs of her parents and grandparents, and their love for the Lord Jesus Christ. We hope that fans of their show will be further encouraged by Sadie’s book.”
Robertson’s book, Live Original: How the Duck Commander Teen Keeps it Real and Stays True to Her Values, is about growing up in the spotlight as a biblical Christian. She encourages others to stand firm in their values, explaining that the Robertson family values helped guide her and her family to spiritual growth. These values, such as “dream big” and “do something” have molded her into a proud daughter of Christ.
In addition to her role as student, author and TV personality, Robertson serves as a motivational speaker and positive role model to young girls across the country, delivering consistent, positive messages of encouragement to over 3 million followers across her social media platforms. With her unassuming charm, authenticity, bright smile and biblical values, she is unafraid to speak candidly about her love of God and family, and her message to “Live Original.”
Robertson will sign copies of her book and greet guests at the Billy Graham Library on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Books will be available for purchase in Ruth’s Attic bookstore, or you may bring your own. Since the beginning of Duck Dynasty in 2012, Sadie has been captivating her audiences and inspiring teens and parents alike. She embodies the creative and entrepreneurial spirit of the Robertson family.
