Billy Graham Library To Welcome Hundreds Of Motorcyclists From Across The Region On Oct. 17 For ‘Bikers With Boxes’

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 12, 2015 – Carrying gifts for children in need, motorcyclists from across the southeastern U.S. will converge at the Billy Graham Library on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. “Bikers with Boxes” began in 2007, and draws more than 1,000 bikers each year to the Billy Graham Library. Since the event began, these generous bikers have collected more than 10,000 gift-filled shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child, a project of the international Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse.

In addition to shoe box collection, “Bikers with Boxes” will provide free lunch to participating motorcyclists, and include live entertainment from artist Dennis Agajanian and a message from Franklin Graham who serves as the president and CEO of both the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse. Yves Dushine, a former shoe box recipient from Rwanda who now volunteers with Operation Christmas Child, will also speak to attendees.
