Answer
Did the miracles in the Bible really happen? Recently a friend (who isn't religious) gave me a book that claims they didn't happen, and they can all be explained as natural events that people just thought were miracles. Which should I believe, this book or the Bible?
Answer
Recently, I thought I was telling my neighbor the truth about something, but later I found out it wasn't true after all. Does this make me a liar in God's eyes? I've always tried to be as truthful as possible.
Answer
I don't think it makes any difference what religion you follow, as long as you sincerely believe in some spiritual power higher than yourself. In my opinion, all religions end up in the same place; they just take different paths to get there.
Answer
When we forgive someone for something they've done to us, is that supposed to erase all the problems between us? I've truly forgiven a friend for the deep hurt she caused me, but I can't pretend it never happened or resume our friendship the way it once was. Am I wrong to feel this way?
Answer
I never knew my grandfather, but from what I hear he had no use for God, and lived a very immoral and selfish life. Someone told me that a person's bad behavior could bring a curse from God on his descendants, so they can't be saved. This terrifies me. Is it true?
Answer
Every year, our church puts on a Christmas play with the children, and it's always fun to see them dress up as shepherds and angels and wise men. But do we actually know what the Christmas angels looked like? Did they have wings and white robes?
Answer
I don't see how God can blame us for our sins. After all, we all grew up in homes that weren't perfect, and God shouldn't blame us if we have the same bad habits our parents did.
Answer
Where did the devil come from? Or has he always been around? I have a hard time understanding why God even allowed the devil to come into existence, since the devil's whole purpose seems to be to oppose God.
Answer
If God is real, then why are there so many religions in the world? They can't all be right, can they?
Answer
What is blasphemy? Is it the same thing as profanity? I admit that once in a while I get upset and use some cuss words I probably shouldn't, but I don't really mean anything by it.
Answer
I know we're supposed to confess our sins whenever we pray, but sometimes I can't think of anything to confess. I'm not trying to be proud, but I honestly try to do what is right. What am I missing?
Answer
I've been going through some hard times lately. I'm a Christian, but have I done something wrong and God is punishing me for it? I don't know what I did wrong, but I sure wish I could get this behind me.
