What do people mean when they say the Bible is inspired? Is that the same thing as saying that the Bible is inspiring, and it lifts our spirits when we read it? I've never read the Bible very much, but I can see why some people find it uplifting.

Why do you quote the Bible so much? I'm sure there are a lot of good things in it, but the people who wrote it lived in a much different world from the one we live in today, and it seems to me that their ideas won't necessarily work for us today.

I've heard that old spiritual for years about Ezekiel and the valley full of dry bones that came back to life, but the other day I finally found the story in the Bible. I gather God gave Ezekiel a vision of this, but I'm confused about what it means. Maybe you can help me.
