I suppose you've heard this before, but I just can't get into the Bible. It's so massive, and anyway, I never seem to have time. I know I ought to make the Bible part of my life, but I get discouraged before I even start. Can you help me?

How to Apply the Bible
Answer
How can I decide which Bible to buy? I don't know anything about the Bible, but I recently gave my life to Jesus and I want to begin reading it. However, I went to a bookstore the other day and just got confused because there seem to be so many kinds. Why is that?
Answer
When Jesus healed people, why did He tell some of them to keep quiet about it and not tell anyone?

How to Interpret the Bible
Answer
What do people mean when they say the Bible is inspired? Is that the same thing as saying that the Bible is inspiring, and it lifts our spirits when we read it? I've never read the Bible very much, but I can see why some people find it uplifting.
Answer
Why do you quote the Bible so much? I'm sure there are a lot of good things in it, but the people who wrote it lived in a much different world from the one we live in today, and it seems to me that their ideas won't necessarily work for us today.
Answer
I've been reading the Old Testament recently (as part of a New Year's resolution). But I've gotten discouraged because I know I'll never be able to keep all those laws. There must be hundreds of them. Do you have any advice?
Answer
My friend is a very dedicated member of his religious group, and he talks to me all the time about the way so-called Christians have twisted the Bible over the centuries and made it say things it doesn't really say. How can I know if he's telling the truth? I've never thought about God before.
Answer
Recently, a friend had a kidney transplant that probably saved his life, and it's made me want to be an organ donor. Would anything in the Bible forbid this?
Answer
I would like to know more about the Bible, but it's so big I don't know where to start, and I'm not sure where to turn to get some help. Could you suggest one or two books (in addition to the Bible) that might help me to study the Bible?
Answer
I've heard that old spiritual for years about Ezekiel and the valley full of dry bones that came back to life, but the other day I finally found the story in the Bible. I gather God gave Ezekiel a vision of this, but I'm confused about what it means. Maybe you can help me.
