Sadie Robertson at the Billy Graham Library
Sadie Robertson, 18-year-old star of the hit television show
Duck Dynasty
, came to The Billy Graham Library on Feb. 20 to greet fans and sign books. Phil and Kay Robertson, her grandparents,
were at the Library
just a little over a year ago.
People started waiting in line hours before the book signing began.
The line was wrapped around the inside of the Billy Graham Library as well as outside. Sadie's fans are quite loyal and all seemed happy to meet her.
It's obvious this little girl was strategic in her wardrobe planning.
More than 1,000 fans came to meet Sadie Robertson. The line wrapped around Billy Graham's childhood home, which sits on the Billy Graham Library property.
Sadie said it was "very cool" to be at the Billy Graham Library because it reminded her of how mightily God can use just one person.
Janeen Silver brought her three daughters to meet Sadie because, "She serves as a great role model for them."
Four-year-old Aubrey wanted Sadie to sign her very first Bible.
This young lady was happy to spend the day with friends at
the Billy Graham Library
.
If you saw one phone taking pictures at Sadie Robertson's book signing, you saw hundreds. The Billy Graham Library had its own paparazzi of teenage girls trying to get snapshots of their role model.
Sadie wrote
Live Original
to tell people, "Be confident in the person God created you to be."
Here are just a few of the young women who gladly waited to meet Sadie.
Sadie ran out of time, but that didn't stop her from greeting her fans. She walked outside to say hello to those who didn't make it through the line.
Sadie recognized fashion blogger Emily (Maynard) Johnson. As Johnson walked away from the book-signing table, she looked at her daughter, Ricki, and asked, "This is the best day of your life, isn't it?"
Dozens of Sadie's fans began to celebrate when they saw her emerge from the front door to say hello to them.
