While the event drew many people local to the Charlotte, North Carolina, area, some guests made the trip from as far away as Philadelphia and Ohio.
Many attendees swapped life stories over lunch.
Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin delivered a powerful message about being a warrior for Christ, and he shared God's plan of salvation.
Prayer was a key part of the day and a few people indicated decisions for Jesus Christ toward the end of the message.
After Lt. Gen. Boykin's message, attendees were invited to visit the Library and take the Journey of Faith Tour.
