Last week, hundreds united in prayer at First Baptist Church in Clarksville, Tennessee—asking God to move mightily and bring revival to their city.
The prayer event helped set the stage for when Franklin Graham will share the Gospel in Clarksville on May 18 as part of the Decision America Tennessee Tour.
"Let your glory fall!" "Hear our prayer Lord!" "We want to see you!" The sanctuary was filled with prayers and petitions to God.
The entire night was filled with worship.
"You all know people who have hard hearts," said Steve Rhoads, vice president of My Hope at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. He then led the crowd in a spirited prayer on behalf of their unsaved family, friends and neighbors.
Attendees took time to gather in groups and pray for each other.
Trust Jesus only.
"And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him." —1 John 5:14-15
Many Clarksville residents have been praying for years—even decades—for revival to come to their city.
Each person gave praise to Almighty God in his or her own way.
