Officers Encouraged During Appreciation Dinner at The Cove

Law enforcement officers and their spouses enjoyed a free dinner and evening out hosted by the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, North Carolina, Tuesday, April 12.
Former professional baseball player Darryl Strawberry shared an encouraging message with attendees, including how his life has been transformed by Christ.
Officers didn't have to look over their shoulders, but could fully relax with their spouse—a rare occasion for them.
Will Graham, executive director of The Cove, took time to greet guests and get to know them.
Couples also took in the breathtaking view of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Guitar-picking Dennis Agajanian caused many attendees to smile with his boot-thumping Gospel music.
Edward Graham, who previously served in the military, also spoke at the event. He later tweeted, "We love our Law Enforcement and we want to show our appreciation to them. I'm so thankful for the GOAT Darryl Strawberry and my talented Uncle @AgajanianDennis for encouraging some [of] our local law enforcement last night @TheCoveNC. The Gospel was proclaimed!"
Know a law enforcement officer? Encourage them to register for one of our fall retreats at The Cove.
