New Zealanders Emboldened to Share Gospel Message

By   •   November 9, 2022

Franklin Graham has been sharing the Gospel at one-day evangelistic events in various regions around the world. His God Loves You Tour will stop in three cities across New Zealand starting this weekend through Nov. 19. Ahead of that tour, these young people have joined many others in learning how to share their faith in Jesus Christ during a free training called the Christian Life and Witness Course (CLWC).
Six out of 10 people in New Zealand say they don't believe in God. During one of the CLWC trainings across the country, Christians gathered at Elim Christian Centre in Botany, Auckland, to see how they can effectively and respectfully share the truth of the Gospel with those around them.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has used this course over the years to help prepare local believers in evangelism. Jesus tells His followers to take the Gospel to all the nations (Matthew 28:16–20), and attendees come to realize that doesn't have to be scary.
During CLWC training, participants receive free resources that explain the central Gospel message and how to grow in one's faith.
Participants are excited to invite their lost friends to God Loves You Tour events in Christchurch on Nov. 12, Wellington on Nov. 16, and in Auckland on Nov. 19. >>Get event details.
As Christians pray for opportunities to share their personal faith stories, invest in relationships, and open themselves up to spiritual conversations, they may be surprised how many people are willing to listen. >>Tips and reminders for sharing your faith.
Even for those who have been Christians for years, evangelism may not come naturally. CLWC training, like this one at Our City Church in West Auckland, teaches practical tips on how to share their faith with others.
Each participant receives a packet to help follow along with the content being taught.
Isaac Proctor (left) joined friends for the training. “The idea of the Great Commission and evangelism was something I always knew was important, but I had to ask God to truly put that passion in my heart,” the 23-year-old said. “That’s why I’m here, because today He gave me that heart for evangelism.” >>Read more from Isaac about reaching his generation with the hope of Christ.
CLWC gives local Christians a chance to come together under one roof and learn time-tested, Biblical principles for telling others about Jesus with confidence. If each person reaches just their circle of influence with the Gospel, imagine how rapidly the Good News could spread throughout New Zealand.
Please pray for every person across New Zealand who has been equipped through the Christian Life and Witness Course. Ask God to embolden them to take the Gospel to their communities.
