Kaua`i Celebration with Will Graham Photos: Day Two

Day two of the Kaua`i Celebration with Will Graham was all about reaching young people with the Gospel message. Saturday’s events started with KidzFest, a kid-centered event with music, games, inflatables and a faith-based skit that helps Will Graham share a simple Gospel message even little ones can understand.
Saturday night, Will shared a fitting message on the Prodigal Son, the familiar Bible story about a young man who wastes his inheritance and finds himself in a low place after trying to live his life “to the extreme,” as Will called it.

"We always go for the extreme, and we feel like if we don't go for the extreme, then we're getting something of less quality [or] we're not getting the full deal." But that's not true.

Since planning began for the Celebration, local churches have made reaching their island’s young people a priority, saturating social media about the event, holding youth gatherings and training young believers across Kaua`i on sharing their faith with others.
Student Night is always full of energy as the musical performances are held on stage. In Kaua`i, as soon as Will Graham stepped in front of the podium, young people settled down and listened intently as he talked about God's love for them. "God says He's willing to forgive anyone who comes to Him," Will told them.
Billy Graham visited Kaua`i in 1965, preaching five days after finishing an eight-day Crusade in Honolulu. In addition to Kaua`i, he made stops on the Big Island and Maui to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
With Will Graham's Kaua`i Celebration, three generations of Grahams have now visited the island. "It's a very beautiful place here," Will said, thanking Kaua`i once again for having him.
Similar to his father and grandfather, Will shared a few laughs with the crowd, talking about his time so far on the island. "I've really enjoyed the food out here," Will smiled before describing his first experience eating Hawaii's well-known shave ice. "Thank you Hawaii for blessing me with that. That was awesome."
Many in the crowd sang along with Cass as she performed. A newcomer from New Zealand, she’s hit the music scene by storm, using her gift to glorify God.
Hip-hop artist Tedashii rocked the stage with bass-filled beats that kept the crowd jumping.
Enjoying the show from up high.
"But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” —John 4:23-24 (ESV)
Aaron Shust added some island flair to his worship set on Saturday, leading hundreds in new renditions of classic songs giving praise to God.
Many in the crowd wore hats and shirts with "HE>i" on them. The logo, which stands for "He is greater than I," represents a Christian clothing brand based in Hawaii that centers its designs on John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease.”
“There are some of you here today, you want to live life with no rules,” Will said, comparing life with no boundaries to a game of football without any rules. “Rules help give purpose and meaning to life. … Rules help you to experience life to the fullest.”
Sitting up front as close as he could to the stage, this man's eyes were glued as Will Graham taught "what the Bible has to say about life."
Both KidzFest and Student Night of the Celebration are always a joy to see as youth run forward to give their lives to Christ, many for the first time. Often, parents will also walk forward to make a decision after seeing how the Gospel message touched their children's hearts.
More than half of those who walked forward during the invitation to accept Christ on Saturday were under the age of 18. Earlier in the night, this little lady laughed and danced at the front of the stage with her friends as Cass performed. Little did she know, she'd make a decision that would change her life for eternity.
Kaua`i gets more than a million visitors every year—many of them deciding to move to the tropical island for good. In his message Saturday night, Will talked about how some run to faraway places like Hawaii, looking to escape. But there's no escaping God.
Sometimes, life hits a “nose dive,” similar to what the Prodigal Son experienced, Will explained.

“Some of you here, you’ve been hooked on drugs, and drugs made your life go into a nose dive. You’ve had family problems go into a nose dive; marriage go into a nose dive. Everything was going good, then all of a sudden fell apart." But new hope can be found in Jesus Christ.

Please pray for those who decided to give their lives to Christ while Will Graham shared God's Word in Hawaii.
