Joy in Jesus: KidzFest Reaches Children Around the World

This December, Franklin Graham is headed to Cambodia for the Love Phnom Penh Festival. On October 26, KidzFest—a Gospel-centered outreach for children—preceded the Festival. Each child who makes a decision for Christ at these events meets with a trained prayer counselor, like at this one in Cebu, Philippines.
Young people praise God through dance and worship at this outreach in Prince Edward Island, Canada, in 2017.
KidzFest presents the basics of Christianity in a child-friendly way. At this 2016 event in Myanmar, the joy of children is apparent as they watch a skit.
Those who pray to accept Christ receive materials that explain the Good News, like these children in Falkirk, Scotland, in 2018.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is clearly explained through a message and drama in a way children can understand. This scene portrays the crucifixion of Christ during a skit in Cúcuta, Colombia, earlier this year.
Some events include characters, clowns and dancers in colorful costumes, like these young people worshipping in the Philippines.
There is also a time for games, face painting, inflatable playhouses and more, as these Canadian children experienced in 2016.
In 2019, more than 3,100 children chose to follow Christ at KidzFest events, in addition to thousands of others at past outreaches. We thank God for each and every one. This photo is from a 2014 Fukuoka, Japan, outreach.
