The Billy Graham Library’s 2020 Ladies Tea and Tour was unique with masks this year, but the encouraging message, worship and community resembled the previous 12 years. The sold-out event at the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, was also livestreamed on the Library's Facebook page. More than 8,500 people from 45 countries watched online.
Sheila Walsh, a popular speaker, author and TV personality spoke about the value of prayer, a timely message for this year’s ongoing pandemic, violent rioting and political division. >>Watch a replay of the Ladies Tea and Tour.
This is the 13th year ladies have come to the tea, enjoying time together while meeting new friends over a scrumptious meal.
A refreshing time of worship offered a chance for reflection and rejoicing in Jesus Christ.
Bryn Waddell and his team from nearby City Revival Church provided worship.
Women enjoyed a wonderful spread of assorted sandwiches, salad and desserts, served with a variety of teas.
Sheila Walsh's newest book Praying Women was available for purchase.
Walsh is transparent about how her own life trials have refined her faith in God through the years. "Pray hardest when it's hardest to pray," she encouraged Saturday. After speaking, she signed copies of Praying Women, listening to attendee's stories and praying with them.
Some donned beautiful hats for the occasion.
Many women came to the tea knowing about Walsh's heart for encouraging others by sharing how God got her through personal struggles. >>You can find this peace with God today.
With COVID-19 safety measures in place, some shared how the message and community with others was just what they needed. Attendees were encouraged to take The Journey of Faith tour afterward. >>Take a virtual tour now .
