Greater Fort Wayne Celebration Kicks Off with Spirited Night of Praise

By Earl Davidson   •   October 7, 2017

More than 1,300 people attended the first night of The Greater Fort Wayne Celebration with Will Graham. By the end of the night, dozens had made a decision for Christ.
Though under the weather, Will Graham preached a powerful message with just enough laughs to connect with the crowd yet fervently share God's unwavering truth.
After much preparation by more than 150 churches, the first night of The Greater Fort Wayne Celebration with Will Graham saw much fruit. This photo shows an arena view during the invitation to accept Christ.

Aaron Shust took the stage Friday night and will lead the crowd in worship Saturday and Sunday as well.
Steve Coyle couldn't have been more excited about seeing the Celebration come to life. Feeling like the Lord called him to hold his own crusade in 2015, he didn't have the means to make it happen. "I feel like Jesus sent Will Graham to take my place," he said.

Phil Wickham sang many of his popular songs, including "This is Amazing Grace."
"We see all the problems in our life when we are separated from God," Will told the crowd, urging those listening to "choose Christ."
Helping another take a step toward God. Start your journey to peace today.
"We all have questions we want to ask God," Will said, noting that Christ is the answer to all.
People of all ages walked forward during the invitation. Young ones will have another opportunity to learn about Jesus at Saturday's KidzFest event.

Join us in praying for those who came to know Christ at Friday's event as well as for hearts to be touched during the two remaining nights. Watch day two of the Celebration live at 7 p.m. ET

  1. AnnaRae Ellison (Anna) says:

I am Sooo glad I went last night with my friend Jana. We both needed the encouragement of being with believers and the chance to have someone pray for us in the situations and decisions we have in our lives. I only saw Billy preach on tv, never in person. So, seeing Will was like seeing his dad and his grandpa. Especially since their voices are so much alike; they have similar stature, facial features and mannerisms. He truly represents the family in flesh and in the Spirit of God. I thank God for starting this ministry; for Billy being willing to let God use him and for all the thousands of ministry partners and volunteers over these last decades whose only goal was to get the Word of God to as many people as possible. My heart is full…!

  2. Rubus Martins says:

I love this gathering of the saints. I trust God to continue His great works and wonders in the life of his minister to bring word that will convict and cause hearts to surrender to Him.
