Decision Texas: The Lone Star Tour with Franklin Graham is calling people to prayer for the state and nation, and letting them know that Jesus Christ is the one true hope in this world. Before Sunday's San Antonio event, Franklin Graham visited Lubbock, Midland and Corpus Christi.
Before taking the stage on Sunday, Franklin Graham shared a laugh backstage with David Crowder.
Children of all ages came out and heard a message of hope from Franklin Graham on a cool, breezy night. "If even one person repents tonight, heaven rejoices," he said.
An emotional response to Franklin Graham's invitation to receive Christ. “If you don't remember anything else, remember this: God loves you,” Franklin Graham said on Sunday.
“A cross meant to kill is my victory,” Texas native David Crowder sang. Jesus’ triumph over death made a way for us to live forever with Him in heaven.
Throughout the Bible, Jesus called people to turn to Him publicly. He also died publicly. Franklin Graham urged those who wanted to follow Christ to take a public stand for Him.
"You've got to be willing to take that step of faith," Franklin Graham encouraged the crowd, and many, young and old, did just that.
More than 10,000 people came to River City Community Amphitheater in Selma, Texas (just outside of San Antonio).
After talking about all the natural disasters hitting Texas, Florida and the Caribbean the past two months, Franklin Graham offered up: "Many people want to know what's going on. Is God sending a signal? Is this His judgment?"
Decision Texas continues in Round Rock on Monday, Waco on Wednesday and Longview on Thursday. Find out more at Texas.BillyGraham.org.
