Decision Texas: The Lone Star Tour with Franklin Graham began last week and ended in Longview Thursday night.
Instead of cars fitting into the lines of the Dell Diamond baseball stadium parking lot, rows and rows of people in Round Rock sat in chairs or on blankets to hear about Jesus Christ.
"There is nothing you can do to save yourself," Franklin Graham said. It’s only by God's grace through our faith in Him that salvation comes (Ephesians 2:8-9).
An estimated 8,300 people claimed a spot in the parking lot outside Dell Diamond stadium in Round Rock for Franklin Graham's fifth stop in Texas.
Lots of children were spread throughout the crowd, and their parents weren't the only ones listening to the music and the message.
"Earth has no sorrows heaven can't heal,” Crowder sang to a captive crowd.
"God's Word doesn't change. ... Culture may change, but He doesn't change,” Franklin said.
Taking a silent moment of prayer as a parking lot of people bowed their heads in prayer, too. Read a couple of stories from Sunday's event.
“This is a holy moment,” Franklin observed, looking out over those who were publicly professing Jesus as their Savior. An estimated 8,300 people attended Sunday's event, the fifth of seven stops along the tour.
