An estimated 8,200 proud Americans came out in support of God and country at the 49th Decision America prayer rally in Richmond, Virginia, on Wednesday.
"When we come and we stand on the Capitol steps to pray, let me tell you something, God hears prayer," Franklin Graham said.
The verse 1 Chronicles 16:11 states, “Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually!"

A big part of the Decision America Tour is when people, oftentimes complete strangers, grab hands and fervently pray to God.
"This election is about the Supreme Court. This is the most important election in my lifetime," Franklin Graham told the crowd.
Virginia is George Washington's birthplace and this man dressed like the first President and led volunteers in prayer.
Myra Sims said the Bible is our guidebook and America needs to get back on course. “It’s very important," she said. "We were built on those principals.”
Some came to pray during their lunch hour.
