The Decision America Pacific Northwest Tour made its final stop in Monroe, Washington. An estimated 8,300 people gathered to pray together, worship along with Jeremy Camp and hear Franklin Graham share a message of God’s love.
Franklin Graham talked with those who packed into Evergreen Speedway about the value of a soul. “One human soul has more value than all the riches of the world,” he said.
Dennis Agajanian (left) and his brother Danny fired up the crowd with some serious strumming and fiddling to open the event.
Monroe, which is 30 miles northeast of Seattle, is home to Evergreen Speedway, site of Monday’s Decision America Tour stop and a local track on the NASCAR Home Tracks program. More seats were added as people filled the grandstands to capacity.
Volunteer chaplains with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team were a critical part of the seven-stop tour. They talked and prayed with people, but they also worshipped right alongside their Christian brothers and sisters.
Hundreds of churches committed to pray for Monday’s event, and many churchgoers brought friends. Some 166 people were trained in Monroe during the two different Christian Life and Witness training classes prior to the final stop.
Jeremy Camp led tens of thousands in passionate worship during the Decision America Pacific Northwest Tour.
Wholeheartedly worshipping the one true God.
"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs," the Bible declares in Psalm 100:1-2.
The grandstands thundered at Evergreen Speedway when Franklin Graham held up a gift a friend had given him on Monday. Franklin shared he's been a Seattle Seahawks fan since he attended a semester at Seattle Pacific University.
Shortly after taking the stage, Franklin Graham led those in attendance and those watching online in a time of prayer for our nation and its elected leaders. Even though the tour has concluded, our prayers should continue.
God’s Word declares, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). Many across the speedway stood on Monday to make decisions for Jesus Christ.
Franklin Graham encouraged the crowd as he closed, telling believers new and old: “I may not see you again on this earth, but I’ll see you again in heaven. I can promise you that.” Are you sure where you’ll spend eternity? Find peace with God today.
“You’re the reason Jesus endured the cross,” Jeremy Camp said between songs. “He loves you.”
Hugs were shared and tears were shed after Franklin Graham invited people to make a decision for Jesus Christ. Later, he tweeted, "I thank God for each one who made the decision to accept His Son Jesus Christ by faith tonight and on each stop of the #DecisionAmerica Pacific Northwest Tour over the last two weeks. Join me in praying for them as they begin a new walk with Christ."
