Crisis-trained chaplains with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team are in Nice, France, offering emotional and spiritual care in the aftermath of an attack that killed 84 people and wounded many more. Chaplains notably are visiting the memorials along the iconic Promenade des Anglais, where the apparent act of terrorism occurred.

Long ago, it would take many years to hear of a tragedy or catastrophe of a near-impossible magnitude. Nowadays, this is happening almost on a daily basis. It is as if the current menu is that of “crisis after crisis” and yet humanity is empty of love. Maybe God wants us to go back to the basics of loving God with all our hearts, our souls, our minds and our strength plus loving our neighbour as we love ourselves. The first love went cold long ago – as if God even no longer exists. And we are so selfish – never notice our neighbour except to party or entertain ourselves silly. The useless things are so important and have taken first priority like football leagues while churches are empty….read Rom 1:18 to 32 (note:21,24,26-30)LET US PRAY.

God is at work all over the world because of Billy and Franklin Graham. God bless each of you as you travel and share God’s love for all people
