Bobby Bowden Greets Hundreds of Fans at the Billy Graham Library

Bowden said a few words to the crowd before he began signing books and memorabilia.
These parents hope to establish their little one as a Seminole fan early in life.
Coach Bowden primarily signed books, but he also signed memorabilia, such as jerseys, pictures and helmets.
We are thankful that numerous young families showed up to meet Coach Bowden. Many youngsters left the Billy Graham Library with an autographed football.
Some fans compared notes after meeting the football coaching legend.
Bill Shepherd waited in line to surprise Bobby Bowden, his college football teammate. He brought along some newspaper clips from their playing days.

Leo Ortiz is a 1999 graduate of Florida State University. He brought his family along to meet Bobby Bowden. Ortiz observed Bowden's character during his college years: "Coach Bowden was such a leader in the Tallahassee community for many years, on and off the field. He was a father figure to so many of the players."
Coach Bowden had a joyful surprise reunion with Bill Shepherd, his college football teammate from 60 years ago.
More than 300 people came to the Billy Graham Library on a rainy day to meet one of their heroes.
Fans of all ages showed up wearing Seminole garnet and gold.
This young man was happy to have Bowden's autograph inside his latest release, 'The Wisdom of Faith,' along with a signed helmet.
