man lifting hands

Ours is an age of philosophical uncertainty, and we no longer know what we believe. We stand uncommitted. Everywhere I go, I ask students, “What is controlling you?” When I was a student, I had to face Christ. Who was He? He had made the astounding claim, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me.” I wrestled with the inescapable fact that either Jesus Christ was who He claimed to be, or He was the biggest liar, fraud, and charlatan in history. Which was it? Buddha said toward the end of his life, “I am still searching for the truth.” But here was Jesus who appeared and said, “I am the embodiment of all truth. All truth is centered in me.”

  2. Ruth Ewing Maximo says:

I really like these. I am sorry but I am unemployed and barely making ends meet. When I find a job and I am praying to get one soon, then I will be able to donate.

We all need to identify who we are but if we identify with Christ then we need to walk in the shadow of Christ so as to have Christ being seen in us!

  4. Dewey Olander says:

I want to repay God for all the times I could have died and he let me live. I would like to repay this death I owe him.

  5. Wynona Olson says:

I look forward to this devotion.

  6. Jason Boone says:

The first time I saw and heard Billy Graham preach the Gospel, I was ten years old and it was in the Colesium in Houston, Texas. I was with a group from our church and in front of us sat a group of older adolescents with tattoos and leather jackets smoking cigarettes. They were very quiet and listened closely to every word Mr. Graham said. His message, as always, was simple and straight to the point. When he asked for those who wanted to accept Christ to come down to the front, I heard one of those boys say, “Are ya’ll ready?” I could not imagine what that rough looking group was about to do. He stood up, stepped on his cigarette, and led that group down to the front where they all accepted Christ that night. That was 60 years ago.

  7. Pat Folgate says:

I did the Bible study through Billy Graham as a new Christian many years ago.

  8. Bob Heine says:

I’m 67 yrs “young.” Been following Christ for 42 years; grew up in a great Catholic family. Had the chance to go back to Bible college @ age 50. I’m amazed how JESUS came into my life and allowed me to serve HIM in increasing ways to minister and bring people alongside and into His kingdom. What a GOD we serve! PTL.

  9. Linda says:

I too am glad I found this site as I also feel I need all the help I can get. I have just resolved to spend time daily on reflecting, starting with coming to this site for guidance.
