The Return of the Lord

man and woman praying together

The Scriptures indicate that we are living in man’s day. But there is coming a day that will be called the Day of the Lord. In the midst of hopelessness, there is hope! And that hope is centered in the God-man, the Lord Jesus Christ. Now the will of man runs riot in the earth. Then the will of the Lord will alone be done. Until that time, we are under orders from the King of kings to proclaim His message. When we engage in evangelism, we are obeying His great command to “go and proclaim.” In doing so, we are hastening the day of His return.

Learn how to simply share your faith with others.

Prayer for the day

As I live in the hope of Your return, give me the wisdom and love to reach those around me.

  1. Ken says:

I need your prayers. I struggle with depression and lack of feelings for people. This is not the way it should be. I desire to have a loving, caring, compassion for all people. I need a major dose of faith. I was recently baptized again. I want more than anything to have a true relationship with Christ. I know a major part of that is to “love one another”. I covet your prayers.

  2. Joyce Paul says:

The power of God within us is greater than the pressure of troubles around us. THE RETURN IS SURE!!! God bless us! Amen.

  3. Orice May Walters says:

Praise the Lord for Billy Graham.and the ministry he has blessed us with. My mother loved and respected this man of God for almost 91 years. He has done more for America than any President ever could. Through his call as an Evangelist Billy has saved many souls. May all Americans awaken to God’s call as Billy has done. Thank You Billy Graham as you enjoy your years of grace.

  4. Patti says:

My mother taught me about the Rapture of the church when I was very young. I have lived a willful life, run from everything (2 marriages), people who have hurt me time and times. Baptized (age 12 and again age 19 at my southern Baptist college). My Dad died 2 weeks after college graduation, 42 years ago. Broke my heart and have not been the same since. Don’t go to church. Read the Bible almost every day; heard God’s audible voice twice before break of second marriage. But that stopped almost 20 years ago. Remarried 3rd time. Good man. But I am broken. I hurt God. I am so sorry. I cant find the Lord. Please pray for me.

    1. Susie says:

Patti… 🙁 I hurt for you!! Please don’t forget why the blood of Jesus was poured out for US!! Please forgive yourself and just believe that Jesus is there to comfort you! I have similar painful struggles, like you. But thank GOD, I have Jesus!!! And so do YOU!!! 🙂

    2. Simon says:

Be rather consciouse of His Cross than your shortcomings! Jesus will help you.

    3. Max says:

Patti. Jesus stands at the door and knocks. Invite him in. Pray and talk to him many times daily. Soon this will become a delightful habit. Jesus will cure your wounded soul.

  5. michael says:

Yes, Christ’s return is more & more imminent, esp. since Israel became a nation again altho there’s some disparity amongst theologians as to how He will return.

  6. jackie Wilson says:

  7. Gerry says:

The Lord will return as a thief in the night ,without warning, so we all need to be prepared, now. Read the warning signs in the Word.
