Ralph Bell worked for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association during the Civil Rights Movement and took a bold public stand against racism.
During this time, Bell met with young African Americans to encourage them to stand up for what was right. Many felt conflicted about how they could be a part of the Civil Rights Movement and still maintain their Christian faith.
Both Billy Graham and Ralph Bell agreed that, “Racism is a problem of sin, not skin.”
