Do people who've died and gone on to heaven know what's going on down here on earth? I'd like to think my parents know what's happening with their grandchildren, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.

The Bible does suggest that those who’ve entered heaven before us actually may know what is happening on earth. After listing the great heroes of the faith who are now in heaven, the writer to the Hebrews then adds, “Therefore since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses … let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” (Hebrews 12:1).

Although it’s interesting to speculate about this, one fact is certain: God knows what is happening in our life—and in the life of every person on earth. God is all-knowing, and nothing—absolutely nothing—can be hidden from Him. Not only does He know what we do (or fail to do), but He also knows why. The Bible says, “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account” (Hebrews 4:13).

Does that make you nervous? Perhaps it does, because you and I know what goes on in our hearts, and we know we aren’t perfect. But the Bible tells us an even greater truth: God loves us, and He wants to forgive us and cleanse us from all our sins. This is why Jesus Christ came into the world: To save us from our sins.

Be grateful for the hope we have of being reunited with those who have already entered heaven. And make sure of your eternal destiny by giving your life to Jesus Christ today.

Read “Heaven Is For Real” Eben Alexander. Very reliable account of a Neurosurgeon/ Scientist who died of E-coli to the brain and “returned” to tell about it. A once skeptical Surgeon who heard many accounts of other’s experiences with near-death experiences is totally convinced of heaven’s existence since his own experience. He is no longer a skeptic!

I have been saved since the age of 8 and am now 66 yrs. old. I , personally, believe that those in Heaven are Not able to see us from there. Why? The Bible says there will be no tears or sorrow there. If you think about it, being able to witness our mistakes/sin and the tragic things that happen down here many tears and much sorrow would follow.. Just my opinion and reasoning on this subject.

More than once in my life, listening, to Rev. Graham, He has put me on my knees. God uses whomever He wants to effect a change of direction in our lives, no matter what religion you might be, as long as Jesus is the center of it. My wife of 50 years was just last year, taken back to Heaven. Either Christ, or His Blessed Mother used me to send a priest to her before her death. I didn’t even know she was at that point, but He did. During a heart attack operation that I incurred from the stress, a voice told me, “Quit worrying, it’s been turned around.” When I awoke, I asked the priest who was there for me, to go see my wife, who had also been sent to the critical care unit because her kidneys had failed. I praise Him every day for that.

I love Rev. Graham’s responses; he doesn’t try to be politically correct, he answers directly from scriptures. He allows God to speak through him. I continue to pray for God to bless Billy Graham and his family’s ministry.
