“Evangelism is Like Sowing Seeds”

Evangelism is like a sower scattering seed–some of it falls on bad soil and brings forth very little fruit, and some of it falls on good soil and brings forth a great deal of fruit. Jesus explained that the seed is like the Word of God.

In our ministry at BGEA, we believe that God has primarily called us to be evangelists. We go across the country and throughout the world using every strategy and technology we know to sow this same seed.

Some of it falls away, but some of it produces and reproduces.

We regularly hear from people all over the world who have committed their lives to Jesus Christ as a result of some seed that was sown many years ago in our meetings. We give God all the praise and the glory, because we know that the Holy Spirit, energizing His Word, is the real evangelist. We are just the servants He uses.

Will you partner with us this year as we sow the seed of God’s Word throughout 2011?
