LOOKING FOR ANSWER

How can you be so sure there is a God, since science hasn't proven His existence?
The existence of God cannot be proven in a laboratory or through the complicated mechanisms of logic. Neither can love, nor beauty, nor happiness, but that does not mean they are not real.

How can the Bible be correct about the world being created in six days?
Many Christians become troubled when they read the creation account in the Bible and then listen to the ideas of evolutionists.

MY ANSWER

If there is intelligent life on other planets, does God care about those creatures as much as He does us?
Billy Graham writes, "It's interesting to speculate about life on other planets. But God is concerned about our lives right now."

Billy Graham writes, "Yes, you certainly can be a Christian and a scientist. In fact, some of the most brilliant scientists in history—men like Pascal and Newton—were strong believers in God."

MY ANSWER

I'm an atheist, because I just can't see believing in something you can't prove.
Billy Graham writes, "Has it ever occurred to you that as an atheist you also believe in something you can't prove?"

MY ANSWER

I respect Jesus as a profound teacher and a great person, but I can't accept the Bible's myths about things like the miracles He supposedly did.
Billy Graham writes, "I urge you to see Jesus as He really is: the divine Son of God, sent from heaven to save us from our sins."

MY ANSWER

Do you think it's possible for someone who has a logical kind of mind to believe in God?
Billy Graham writes, "Some of the most devout men and women I have ever known were also scientists or engineers. To them, there was no conflict between their faith and their reason—in fact, some told me they went hand in hand."

MY ANSWER

I indicated on my driver's license that I want to be an organ donor. But I don't want to do it if it might be wrong.
Billy Graham writes, "I find nothing in the Bible that would prevent you from being an organ donor, and if your family agrees with your decision, then I would encourage you to do so."

MY ANSWER

Do you think computers could ever take over the world someday?
Billy Graham writes, "The Bible doesn't mention computers, of course—but it does assure us that God is in control of the universe, and nothing (including computers) will ever take His place."

MY ANSWER

I've always assumed the resurrection was just a myth, because nothing is more final than death.

MY ANSWER

Billy Graham writes, "Yes, it certainly would cause a sensation if explorers did discover Noah's ark (which is described in chapters 6-8 of Genesis). And yes, it might make some people take the Bible more seriously."

MY ANSWER

Our son (who is 7) likes dinosaurs a lot, and he wonders why God didn't let them keep on living.

MY ANSWER

How can any intelligent person take the Bible seriously?
Billy Graham writes, "I invite you to discover the Bible for yourself, and not simply go on what you've heard others say about it. You see, the Bible tells us about real events and real people."

MY ANSWER

MY ANSWER

MY ANSWER

I was trained as a scientist, and I just can't bring myself to believe in something I can't prove (like God). What would you say to someone like me?

MY ANSWER

I have a friend who says that the Dead Sea Scrolls disprove Christianity. I don't know anything about this, but could he be right?

MY ANSWER

Billy Graham writes, "If you and I had been living 100 years ago and someone had asked us this same question, I'm sure we would have missed the mark almost completely!"

MY ANSWER

I know scientists say the world might come to an end in a few billion years when the sun finally burns out or something, but is this what the Bible means when it talks about the end of the world?
Billy Graham writes, "No, this is not what the Bible means when it talks about the end of the world. Instead, the Bible paints a much different picture of the world's end—and one that could happen at any moment."
