Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Taking Gospel to the Ends of the Earth

No religious group is growing as fast as those who claim no religion at all. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is proclaiming the Gospel around the world. See lives being changed in the next Billy Graham TV special, online at billygraham.tv beginning Mar. 5, as the Good News of Jesus Christ is being spread to the ends of the earth.

"Our families, our friends, our neighbors, even people that we're going to church with – many are lost without Christ," said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is taking the Gospel to those who have never heard it; to those who are broken; to future generations; and to the world through initiatives including Franklin Graham Festivals, the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team and Internet Evangelism.

Graham recently visited Lithuania - where there are only an estimated 3,000 evangelical Christians - and more than 28,000 attended an evangelistic festival hosted by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in the capital city of Vilnius. Another Franklin Graham Festival was held in Hyderabad, India, where there are more than one billion people, more than one million gods worshiped, and more than 80 percent of the population is Hindu. Viewers of this Billy Graham TV special will see stories from both festivals and how God is moving in these nations. See a full sermon from Lithuania exclusively online at billygraham.tv.

The BGEA is continuing work in the United States as well. The program will also focus on people going through disaster situations, who often ask, "Where was God?" The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, a nationwide network of chaplains trained chaplains to respond in crisis situations, deployed to areas hit by tornados last spring. As John McGuire, with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team of crisis-trained chaplains, explains, "God's heart was breaking for the things that were going on; for the people that were being touched." Viewers will be able to see how the chaplains are offering the hope of Jesus Christ in the midst of tragedy as they minister to the emotional and spiritual needs of survivors of disasters.
