Graham Festival Begins Friday in Knoxville

Monday, April 21, 2008 -- WHAT: East Tennessee Franklin Graham Festival represents the combined efforts of 478 area churches working in partnership with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Franklin Graham will lead the three-day event. The festival is open to the public and free of charge—no tickets are required.

WHEN: Friday, April 25, 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, April 26, 10:00 a.m. (“Xtreme Kidz—LIVE”)

Saturday, April 26, 6:47 p.m.

Sunday, April 27, 4:00 p.m.

(Doors open 90 minutes before each event begins)

WHERE: Thompson-Boling Arena

In addition to messages from Graham, events will feature music by award-winning artists:

Friday Evening: Israel Houghton & New Breed and Austins Bridge

Saturday Morning: “Xtreme Kidz—LIVE” w/God Rocks, Little Tommy and Chaos on Wheels

Saturday Evening: Student Night with Group 1 Crew and Toby Mac

Sunday Afternoon: Michael W. Smith, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder and
Phil Stacey

MEDIA COVERAGE INFORMATION:

• Media check-in will be located at Thompson-Boling Arena’s Southeast court-level entrance. Media check-in opens 90 minutes before each event begins.

• Media credentials can be obtained by presenting company identification at the media
check-in table.

• Working area for media will be located on the floor of Thompson-Boling Arena in front of Section 120. High-speed Internet access will be available.
