Will Graham's Peace and Joy Celebration concluded July 24 in Mukono, Uganda. More than 28,000 people attended and thousands made decisions for Christ. Prior to the last event, Will took time out for a quick picture with members of the choir. See more photos from the three-day Celebration.
Radiating the joy Jesus brings.
A torrential downpour covered the venue during the Celebration. Many ducked for cover, but a few didn't bother seeking shelter. They chose to pray right where they were.
Who needs an umbrella? Many simply flipped their chairs and kept on celebrating.
1 Chronicles 16:9 states, "Sing to Him, sing Psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works!"
The crowd later cheered loudly when Will Graham noted the rain, citing a shower of blessings from our Heavenly Father.
The interpreter conveys the message of hope Will Graham shared during the final day of the Celebration.
"We don't always understand why bad things happen," Will Graham told the crowd. "We might not understand why God sent rain during the Celebration. But God has a plan."
“Rain down, you heavens, from above, And let the skies pour down righteousness; Let the earth open, let them bring forth salvation, And let righteousness spring up together. I, the Lord, have created it" (Isaiah 45:8).
"God wants to give you a great life and hope for eternity but you have to be willing to come to Him," Will Graham encouraged a captive crowd. "Will you make a decision for Him today?"
After Will Graham shared the Gospel, many made decisions for Christ.
Praising Jesus.
