People were lined up for Rock the Lakes Erie well before the doors opened at the Erie Insurance Arena.
Lacey Sturm shared her testimony and sang some of her greatest hits as well as some new songs.
Singer Jasmine Tate brought a folksy feel to the evening. "Music is one of the things that draws this generation away from the Gospel," she said. "I want to redeem that and use it to point people toward Christ."
Many in the crowd got up on their feet during the pre-show featuring DJ Opdiggy.
Hundreds of youth packed the floor when their favorite artists came on stage.
Lead singer Michael Barnes and his band RED energized the crowd with their performance.
Husband and wife team Amena Brown (emcee) and Matt Owen (known as "DJ Opdiggy") bring a lot of talent to Rock the Lakes.
Nearly 8,000 people packed out the Erie insurance Arena (including an adjacent overflow venue) to hear the Gospel presented through song and through the written word. Additionally, more than 9,000 watched via live stream at BillyGraham.org/live
Up and coming rapper NF brought intensity to the stage. He shares hope with his audiences through his powerful testimony.

TobyMac led the celebration of new lives and fresh starts in a concert after hundreds came forward to publicly profess their new faith in Christ.
Franklin Graham urged the crowd to give their lives to Jesus: "God loves you and He is here in this arena. He is willing to forgive you if you accept His provision of Jesus Christ."
A relatively new Christian himself, Jimmy Gillespie (left) was overjoyed at the opportunity to lead a young man to Christ.
