On Jan. 26, Franklin Graham joined Jim Cymbala and other pastors and church leaders at the Oklahoma State Evangelism Conference just outside Oklahoma City.

Franklin Graham was invited to Oklahoma City by the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma. "It is a great blessing to be with hundreds of people who have a passion for reaching people with the Gospel," Franklin shared about the conference on his Facebook page.

Franklin Graham opened his 45-minute message with an update on his father, Billy Graham, who is mentally sharp but gets tuckered out easily. "He wakes up in the morning, and he'll have some coffee. And then he'll probably take a nap," Franklin shared as the crowd laughed.

The issue of human trafficking is especially close to Franklin Graham's heart after a recent trip to southeast Asia. He called on believers to pray and get more involved in the fight against human trafficking.

Preaching from Matthew chapter 8, Franklin Graham talked about Jesus calming the storm that had his disciples terrified. "There is only one who can save," Franklin said. "Only one: Jesus Christ."
Oklahoma City
On August 22-23, Franklin Graham will return to Oklahoma City for the Good News Festival with Franklin Graham. He'll be joined by music artists Skillet and Lacey as he shares the hope of Christ at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
