Billy Graham Library 7th Anniversary

By   •   June 10, 2014

It's hard to believe it has already been seven years since the Library opened.
Guests were greeted by our volunteers and this beautiful, delicious cake.
Here is a close up what was was inscribed on the Bible portion of the cake. This Scripture is why we do what we do here at BGEA.
This cake brought much delight to our Library visitors at the anniversary celebration.
This little girl savored every bite of her cake.
Lee and Saige are members of the Biltmore Baptist youth group of Asheville, N.C. They were here with the other graduating seniors on their annual surprise road trip. They were heading to Carowinds once they left the Library.
This woman showed up to the Library not knowing it was the anniversary. The cake was a pleasant surprise for her.
Out of the hundreds that came through the Library during the anniversary celebration, many of them were children.
Several members of this family live locally here in Charlotte. They had several relatives visiting from India for a few months and made sure the Billy Graham Library was at the top of their summer agenda.
Tom Phillips, Vice President of the Billy Graham Library (middle) was pleased to learn that Sunder Rao (to his right) attended a Billy Graham Crusade many years ago in India. Phillips presented Rao with a copy of God's Ambassador.
As the Billy Graham Library celebrated its seventh anniversary, fresh flowers lay at the grave of Ruth Bell Graham to remember when she entered this world, and when she left it.
