Peace with God and the peace of God in a man’s heart and the joy of fellowship with Christ have in themselves a beneficial effect upon the body and mind, and will lead to the development and preservation of physical and mental power. Thus, Christ promotes the best interest of the body and mind as well as of the spirit-in addition to inward peace, the development of spiritual life, the joy and fellowship with Christ, and the new strength that come with being born again. There are certain special privileges that only the true Christian can enjoy. There is, for example, the privilege of having divine wisdom and guidance continually.

Prayer for the day

Let me live so close to You, almighty God, that Your wisdom will invade my mind continually.

June 19, 1995 God saved and delivered my from addiction, Some how I came across a 365 day devotional from Billy Graham. Each day you read a Psalm, Proverb, OT an NT, with question and answers to help some one like me to understand MY Jesus and to establish a relationship with him. That was many years ago, but I still thank u for the foundation it gave me. and yes I still use it today.
    Thank you

This devotional also mentions peace with God and the peace of God. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ tells us He provides this peace… John 14:27… When we place our complete faith and trust in God, wisdom will also be provided by God to help handle various life issues. The message from the apostle James tells us to ask for this wisdom “in faith.” Peace and wisdom…two great gifts from God.

Todays Devotion and the picture above it are beautiful. The picture is a reminder of walking home in the Fall in the mountains of Northeast Tennessee and the devotion grabs my heart. Thank you and God bless you.

The wisdom of God, is an incomparable gift. Seek it daily. Ironically it’s readily available to all, but not often sought after. Most people have one in their home, but rarely look at it. It’s called the Bible. God’s Holy Word. Every sentence contained in it , is God inspired. Thank you Lord for that special gift.
