Don’t trust your heart

One of the ironies of human nature is that it often has a way of rejecting the best and accepting the worst. Why did the crowd ask for the release of Barabbas and the crucifixion of Jesus? The answer is in the biblical statement, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked.” Jesus is just as divine today and just as much alive as He was on that first Good Friday. Yet millions today don’t accept Him. His goodness is still a rebuke to our badness; His purity still shows up our impurities; His sinlessness still reveals our sinfulness; and unless we allow Him to destroy the evil within us, the evil within us still wants to destroy Him. This is the conflict of the ages.

Prayer for the day

Lord Jesus, when I reflect upon the agony of Your death at Calvary, my heart is once again humbled at the magnitude of Your love for all mankind.

God Bless you Pastor Graham. You are in my prayers and I am grateful for your faithfulness and teaching throughout the years. I have struggled with deciding to walk away from blessings from God and choosing what I thought I wanted. These decisions to fear instead of trust have cost me dearly. It has taken years of tears, anguish and prayer to overcome the choices not to accept God’s best. Thank God He is loving and provides ways out and healing. He is our awesome God! God bless you and all the family! Please keep me in your prayers to know and choose God’s Best for me. Thank you.

How simple…and pure…and timely the Message is, and how marvelous to be assured of eternity with the One who made it all possible! It behooves us to commit even deeper as His disciples, to follow more closely and unashamedly. Bless you, Franklin and BCEA family!! What a godly example Mr Graham is!
